Cancellation policy
WE HAVE A 7-DAY CANCELLATION POLICY WITH NO REFUNDS
7 days (or more see chart below) prior notice for cancellation is required to avoid a charge to your credit card which is equal to one night plus tax based on the rate of the room you reserved (includes early departures). A "no-show" charge equal to one night plus tax, based on the type of room you reserved, will be charged to your credit card if you do not arrive without canceling. Make sure to receive a cancellation number! Reservations for 1 night will be charged when the reservation is made by phone.

PLEASE NOTE! We can be accessed by YNP through the North East Entrance or via the East Entrance by taking the Chief Joseph Highway just outside of Cody, Wyoming. Occasionally a road closure will re-direct your route to the Elk Horn Lodge but as long as there is a road open no matter if it is a longer drive than you planned we can not refund your room reservation. We have a limited number of high occupancy rooms and cabins and turn many away, so please understand you will be charged for the room we guaranteed you.
Note: We will not make any refunds due to the Beartooth Highway being closed. This is not the main route to Cooke City. It is only a Scenic Byway. It's your responsibility to make sure it is open before you decide to drive it.
Pet policy
We only have 1 room that is pet friendly. We do not accept cats! We strictly enforce the following policy.
As much as we love pets, we've been considering not allowing them because of many violations. For the time being, we're strictly enforcing the following policy:
• A pet charge of $10 applies to all pets.
• Pets must be on a leash.
• Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture. (There will be a $100 fee charged to your account for each violation.)
• Pets are not allowed left unattended in rooms.
• All pets must be declared. (There will be a $250 fee for undeclared pets.)
• Pick up after your pets.
• Be considerate of our neighbors. Do not walk your pet in their yards.
• Pets may be exercised in the alley behind the motel unit (no farther than the aspen trees) or on the Miller Trail (past the far north end of River St.) or down by Soda Butte Creek (past the south end of River St.).
